Hello now I am keping some tips to prepare for iit aieee and bits .
First of all lets start with CHEMISTRY .First read ncert books well .Then go for rc mukherji or bahadur for physical chemistry topics.Next for inorganic the impotant topics are Qualitative analysis,Metallurgy,D-block elements, coordination compounds.from these topics 50% of IIT INORGANIC q appear.FOR aieee and bitsat u must prepare even grps perfectly.Next organic if u understand organic it will be the easiest of all three.IF U DONT GET IT IT WILL BE THE TOUGHEST ONE.For organic first you should now about reaction mechanism chapter well.EVEN GOC IS IMPORTANT.I think u can practice ARIHANT for iit level and OPTANDAN for aieee and bits level for ORGANIC.
Next for physics I advice you DC.PANDEY SERIES for IIT. next for aieee and bitsat the perfect book is G.C.AGARWAAL .TRULY SPEAKING ITS THE BEST BOOK FOR AIEEE AND BITS AND A LITTLE HELPFUL FORIIT ALSO.In physics you should be clear in concepts and also some problems.FOR IIT IMPORTANT TOPICS ARE :1.MEHANICS:ROTATORY MOTION,COLLISIONS,WORK ENERGY :TOUGH QUESTIONSAPPEAR
2.FLUID MECHANICS TOUGH Q APPEAR
3.THERMODYNAMICS:SOME PRACTICE HELPS A LOT
4.RAY OPTICS,YOUNGS DOUBLE SLIT EXP:PRACTICE HELPS ALOT
5.E.STATICS,ELECTRICITY,EMI:PRACTICE MAY HELP BIT.
6.MODERN PHYSICS:EASIEST ONE
FOR AIEEE ,BITSAT Q WILL BE EASY BUT U SHOULDNOT LEAVE ANY TOPIC. MY BEST ADVICE IS TO READ FROM GCAGARWAAL INCLUDING THEORY APART FROM NCERT.
MATHS............ TOUGH FOR MANY STUDENTS.BUT WITH PRACTICE CAN HELP A LOT.FOR MATHS ARIHANTH SERIES IS GOOD FOR ALL AIEEE,BITSAT ,IIT.IMPORTANT TOPICS FOR IIT ARE
1:CALCULUS:a)DIFF .CALCULUS:30% b)INT .CALCULUS:15%
2.COORDINATE GEOMETRY:20% -LENGTHY Q
3.ALGEBRA:25% PROBABILITY IS IMP.
4.TRIGONOMETRY-LEAVE IT .BASICS WILL HELP IN OTHERS
5.V.ALGEBRA ,3-D GEOMETRY-10%
FOR AIEEE ALGEBRA IS THE MOST IMPORTANT.FOR BITSAT IT DEPENDS ON LUCK.
BUT ARIHANT SERIES WILL HELP U TO IMPROVE MATHS.
IN MY NEXT POST I WILL SUBJECT WISE DETAILED TIPS
Dont u know that in iit 2009 2 ques were straight forward from trigo identities and ur saying to leave that topic.
ReplyDeleteBAD ADVICE
i accept it dude but see previous years i.e from 2006-09 u will see rarely any question but this year it came .instead of doing trigonometry we can well verse in calculus and definitely many questions will come .so i said in that point of view ..in iit 50%marks will fetch u seat .so leaving 1 or 2 may not be that much problem but some students may feel trigonometry easy.it depends.anyway thank for giving me advice
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these & very well explain post. Some thing new to learn from this helpful post.
